£2500 Raised For NI Children's Hospice

Details

Media Center Image

A feature of Craigavon championships at the weekend was the inclusion of the NI Children's Hospice as the chosen charity. A set of bagpipes donated by R G Hardie & Co from Glasgow was the star prize and the winner was piper Philip Speers from Killeen. An impressive total of £2,500 was collected and donated for this very worthy cause. This event has to be put into the level of one of the most successful events ever promoted by the Co Down SectIon. Congratulations go to all who helped in another success story for the RSPBA NI.

The section would wish to express their thanks to Eddie Montgomery Edenderry Print Management for their support and help with the programme.

Another feature performed by Bleary and District was Amazing Grace when all pipers joined in what an impressive sound this was.
