Lomond and Clyde Invitational Grade 1 Contest
 The 2010 competing season marks Lomond & Clyde Pipe Bands 10th Anniversary. In order to mark this milestone we are pleased to announce a Grade 1 Indoor Invitational Pipe Band Competition, to be held on the 20.03.10 in Glasgow.
The event will showcase 8 of the top competing Grade 1 Bands and will consist of two afternoon "heats" with an evening final comprising of 4 Bands. To ensure serious competition a top prize of £2500 is "up for grabs". The second placed Band will £1500 with third and fourth placed Bands getting £500 and £100 respectively.
Band Chairman, Fraser Sergeant believes that "this event will provide an excellent pre season opportunity for the bands to run their own sets of tunes For Lomond & Clyde it raises our public profile by running such a prestigious event and this anniversary celebrates the input and hard work of all members of the Band past and present."
